2018<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a great summer.&nbsp; In June with had our last camp out of the year, our annual By Boot or By Boat trip.&nbsp; This year we kayaked, canoed, pontooned and SUPed over to our campsite, a few miles across Round Valley.&nbsp; Over the weekend we boated, swam, learned new skills and had a great time camping out.&nbsp; Many of us earned requirements for the Camping and Kayaking merit badges.&nbsp; A few of the highlights of this trip:&nbsp; the t-shirts, having to kayak over to our troop pontoon boat to get lunch (our boat has a grill on it!) and just hanging out with our friends.&nbsp; We are already planning BBOBB 2019!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the summer several of our Scouts worked on and earned merit badges on their own.&nbsp; Aidan earned the Outdoor Cooking, Personal Fitness and Family Life merit badges and Owen earned the Gardening and Outdoor Survival merit badges. &nbsp; <a <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In late July, the troop headed off to Resica Falls where they spent a week camping, learning new skills and having a ton of fun.&nbsp; Scouts from each of our patrols were in attendance.&nbsp; The Scouts earned many different kinds of badges including:&nbsp; welding, metal work, fly fishing, electronics, photography, plumbing and fingerprinting.&nbsp; The troop also went
